  • With the Indonesian election on July 9, Crikey reported on WikiLeaks cables about presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto and his history of human rights abuses. All WikiLeaks documents on Prabowo can be viewed here.
  • Ann Wright, retired US Army colonel and State Department official, discussed WikiLeaks in an interview with Free Speech Debate. She commented, "Quite honestly, I've learned more from WikiLeaks about the operation of the US Government through the diplomatic files that Pvt. Chelsea Manning delivered to WikiLeaks than I really knew in my 16 years with the US Government."
  • Video is available of a debate at Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum on cybersecurity which featured WikiLeaks journalist Sarah Harrison, Jamie Shea of NATO's Emerging Security Challenges Division, and others.
  • Australian Greens Senator Scott Ludlam addressed the parliament about the secrecy of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement commenting, "We would know nothing about the progress of the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement if it was not for whistleblowers from inside the trade agreement posting two of the chapters-the IP and environment draft chapters-on the WikiLeaks website".
