Chelsea Manning has been in prison for 1490 days.

A secret Grand Jury on WikiLeaks has been active for 1593 days.

  • Roj TV lawyer Bjorn Elmquist spoke with RT about a WikiLeaks cable which shows how the US pressured Denmark to close Kurdish TV so Anders Fogh Rasmussen could become NATO chief.
  • A WikiLeaks cable gives background on Indonesian presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto, including his "poor human rights record".
  • During a forum in Spain, Paul Mockapetris, one of the inventors of the Internet Domain Name System, stated that "most of the information WikiLeaks revealed should not have been published" while discussing a balance of privacy and internet freedom.
Chelsea Manning News:
  • Today was San Fransisco's Pride Parade, in which Chelsea Manning was an honorary grand marshal. Speaking on the decision of Manning as a grand marshal, Jeff Patterson of the Chelsea Manning Support Network said, "She's a hero, she's a whistleblower who exposed wrongdoing. She's the only openly transgender person active in the military." Manning's friend Lauren McNamara was also interviewed by SF Pride.
