  • WikiLeaks cables show US officials describing Petro Poro­shenko, newly elected as President of Ukraine, as "disgraced", "deeply unpopular", and "tainted by credible corruption allegations". Poroshenko is referenced in a total of 350 WikiLeaks documents.
  • Jane Duncan of Rhodes University, South Africa, appeared on RT to discuss the blacklisting of WikiLeaks, Edward Snowden, and associated journalists from SIF 2014. She discusses the poor excuse given for their ban and the growing pressure on whistleblowers.
