WikiLeaks News:
  • The UK Ministry of Defence attempted to block a book it commissioned on the war in Afghanistan due to the book using documents released by WikiLeaks. The author Dr Mike Martin was forced to resign from the army over the dispute.
  • In an article on the Obama Administration's continuation of Bush-era policies in Venezuela, WikiLeaks cables are sourced about opposition leader Leopoldo López who is described as untrustworthy and someone who has previously divided the opposition.
  • An analysis of USAID subversion across Latin America sources WikiLeaks cables showing US strategies in Venezuela and communication with opposition members.
