A secret Grand Jury on WikiLeaks has been active for 1503 days.

WikiLeaks News:
  • Former residents of the Chagos Islands have launched their latest legal action regarding their forced removal from their islands over 40 years ago using WikiLeaks cables as evidence. The cables show how the UK Foreign Office misled the public over the issue.
  • With the fourth anniversary of the WikiLeaks' release of "Collateral Murder" on April 5, journalist Greg Mitchell published two excerpts from his book "The Age of WikiLeaks" regarding the release of the video and the aftermath.

Julian Assange News:
  • Video of MEP Eva Joly's interview on Swedish TV4 regarding the Assange case is now available with English subtitles.

Chelsea Manning News:
  • Nancy Hollander, Chelsea Manning's new attorney for her appeals, stated that Manning received a harsher sentence than those in similar cases, as well as some violent criminals. Hollander has yet to receive a transcript of the trial to begin working on the appeal case, but believes the case raises big issues regarding freedom of information and excessive secrecy.
