Chelsea Manning has been in prison for 1379 days.

A secret Grand Jury on WikiLeaks has been active for 1478 days.


WikiLeaks News:
  • An article in Firedoglake looks at the cases of Barrett Brown and Peter Van Buren, both of who have faced criminalization due to sharing WikiLeaks-related links. The related charges against Brown were recently dropped, while Van Buren had his Top Secret security clearance indefinitely suspended and sought to fire him.
  • Julian Assange, WikiLeaks lawyer Baltasar Garzòn, DiploFoundation founder Jovan Kurbalija, and political science lecturer Olivier Chopin will speak on a panel entitled "Yes we scan" at FIFDH in Geneva, March 14.

  • Julian Assange was interviewed on MSNBC's NOW with Alex Wagner about mass surveillance, Edward Snowden, and his upcoming talk at SXSW. Assange's SXSW talk will be streamed live via The Texas Tribune, Saturday at 11am CST.

  • Rolling Stone reviewed Calle 13's new album "Multi_Viral", giving it four of five stars and calling it a lesson in "the power of people armed with the truth", a line from the album's title track which is a collaboration with Julian Assange, Tom Morello, and Kamilya Jubran.
