A secret Grand Jury on WikiLeaks has been active for 1495 days.

  • Australian Greens Senator Scott Ludlam wants to have Julian Assange and Edward Snowden give evidence before a parliamentary committee regarding the mass surveillance of Australian citizens.
  • A WikiLeaks cable reveals US concerns over Wales experiencing an independence streak which would lead to struggles between Wales and the UK government. The cable can be read here.
  • Paul Howes, national secretary of the Australian Workers’ Union, is expected to quit the AWU, as well as his positions as the Labor party’s national executive and as vice-president of the Australian Council of Trade Unions. Howes was exposed as a US informant in cables released by WikiLeaks.
  • TPP documents released by WikiLeaks show how New Zealand would gain very little from the trade deal, despite NZ Prime Minister John Key pushing the idea that it would heavily strengthen the economy.
  • Christian Christensen will present "WikiLeaks, Collateral Murder and the After-Life of Activist Imagery" at ICI Berlin, April 10.
