 - 575 days at the Ecuadorian Embassy.
Chelsea Manning has been in prison for 1329 days.  
Jeremy Hammond has been in prison for 681 days. 
A secret Grand Jury on WikiLeaks has been active for 1212 days.

  • WikiLeaks released the Environment chapter and corresponding chairs' report of the highly secret TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership) agreement. In their press release WikiLeaks writes, "The Environment Chapter covers what the Parties propose to be their positions on: environmental issues, including climate change, biodiversity and fishing stocks; and trade and investment in 'environmental' goods and services... When compared against other TPP chapters, the Environment Chapter is noteworthy for its absence of mandated clauses or meaningful enforcement measures." Coverage of the release can be read below:

  • The Office of the United States Trade Representative issued a statement in response to the TPP Environment chapter leak which briefly explains the US positions in the negotiations.
  • WikiLeaks released the TPP Environment chapter in collaboration with The New York Times and tweeted the following on the matter: "Today's successful WikiLeaks-NYT TPP collaboration marks an end to our three year ban on dealing with the NYT. WikiLeaks NYT ban came after the Guardian+NYT engaged in a scheme to violate our Cablegate contract. The then editor, [Bill] Keller has moved on."

  • WikiLeaks lawyer Michael Ratner wrote an op-ed in The Guardian which discusses why Chelsea Manning, Julian Assange and Jeremy Hammond deserve the same public outrage and support as Edward Snowden.
  • WikiLeaks ambassador Joseph Farrell, theatre director Angela Richter and others will speak on a panel entitled "Objection! Friendship between avant-gardists and nerds" at Berliner Festspiele, 18 January.
  • WikiLeaks is part of the plot in the new comic book series "X-Files: Conspiracy".
