Chelsea Manning has been in prison for 1328 days.  
Jeremy Hammond has been in prison for 680 days. 
A secret Grand Jury on WikiLeaks has been active for 1211 days.

WikiLeaks News: 
  • An article in Foreign Policy discusses "5 Things to Know About the Islamist Empire Trying to Take Down Erdogan", using information from cables released by WikiLeaks.
  • An article in The Nation (Pakistan) discusses WikiLeaks cables on the push of genetically modified cotton (Bt cotton) into Pakistan by Monsanto.
  • The WikiLeaks Twitter account seems to have begun a countdown to something unknown, tweeting "5" early on January 12, followed by "4" early this morning.

Julian Assange News:
  • Julian Assange will be speaking via videolink at SXSW in Austin, TX, March 8 at 11am. He will discuss "the pervasive spread of surveillance, advantages and abuses of the digital age, and the future of democracy".
  • Andrew O'Hagan, author of "Julian Assange - The Unauthorised Autobiography", will be giving a lecture about Mr Assange on February 21 at the British Museum. The book was published by Canongate in breach of contract with Mr Assange, however Mr Assange states "I have a close friendship with Andrew O’Hagan and he stands by me".

Jeremy Hammond News:
  • Jeremy Hammond has been moved to Federal Correctional Institution Manchester in Kentucky, where he will be serving his sentence.
