Chelsea Manning has been in prison for 1255 days.  
Jeremy Hammond has been in prison without sentencing for 607 days. 
A secret Grand Jury on WikiLeaks has been active for 1139 days.

  • WL Press published a series of quotes from a 2009 UK MoD document released by WikiLeaks. The document in on "dealing with leaks" and is relevant to the detainment of journalist Glenn Greenwald's partner David Miranda:
    •  "leaks of official information are considered serious when they undermine government policy or cause embarrassment to the government"
    • "The threat from subversive or terrorist organisations, investigative journalists and others must also be considered."
    • "The threat from subversive and terrorist organizations, ..., investigative journalists, and members of the public cannot be discounted"
    • "In the rare cases where this occurs prior to publication, it may be possible to seek an injunction to prevent publication."
