  • Julian Assange opened MIA's concert in New York City, Skyping in from the Ecuadorian Embassy.
  • UK MPs condemned the European Arrest Warrant, saying it is "fundamentally flawed" and "has led to a number of miscarriages of justice". An EAW was used by Sweden to request the extradition of Julian Assange.
