  • The WikiLeaks Twitter account responded to an article claiming Julian Assange endorsed the stances on abortion held by Ron and Rand Paul:
    • "Mr. Assange never endorsed such a position. When he says a position is "interesting" he is being polite. Please correct. The praise did not include the Pauls' position on abortion. Mr. Assange was contrasting the varying positions as "interesting". Quote Mr. Assange honestly--note that he stated the RP position is "simplistic" "short term" and "undermines the principle"."
