Jeremy Hammond has been in prison without sentencing for 528 days.

Julian Assange News:
  • Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Julian Assange  in DreamWorks' "The Fifth Estate", said that he collided paths with director Bill Condon who wanted to portay Mr Assange as a "antisocial megalomaniac".

Bradley Manning News:
  • Today was the thirty-fourth day of Bradley Manning's trial. It is currently in the sentencing phase, which may last until the end of August. Transcripts of all hearings are available through the Freedom of the Press Foundation. 
    • Bradley Manning gave an unsworn statement in which he apologized and stated his wish to return to a productive place in society.
      • WikiLeaks released a statement in response, condemning the military's actions throughout Pfc. Manning's case and calling for public pressure on the court
    • Cpt. Michael Worsley and Cpt. David Moulton testified about diagnosing Pfc. Manning with Gender Identity Disorder. Cpt. Moulton also said that Pfc. Manning was "true to his principles".
    • Casey Major, Pfc. Manning's sister, testified about her brother's childhood, including their parents' alcoholism and Pfc. Manning being born with signs of fetal alcohol syndrome.
    • Debra Van Alstyne, Pfc. Manning's aunt, testified about how her nephew has changed since his arrest three years ago.

Jeremy Hammond News:
  • Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro donated a signed Paul Reed Smith guitar to raise funds for Jeremy Hammond and Barrett Brown.

  • The WikiLeaks Party released a video of Victoria candidate Julian Assange calling out for volunteers.
