  • Updates continue in NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden's situation:
    • German citizens protested their government's role in NSA spying on "Snowden Day".
    • Edward Snowden's father stated that he believes his son is being demonized by some Congress members and does not believe he could receive a fair trial in the U.S.
    • Russia's FSB and the FBI are in talks over Edward Snowden, according to a spokesperson of President Putin.
