Julian Assange News:
  • Julian Assange appeared on CBS This Morning to discuss Bradley Manning's trial and the NSA/FBI mass surveillance system known as PRISM. He mentioned that the leaker of the surveillance information could end up in the same position as PFC Manning.
  • In an interview with AFP, Julian Assange responded to the NSA surveillance revelations by saying that "the US justice system has suffered from a collapse, a calamitous collapse, in the rule of law" and that the Obama Administration is attempting to "criminalise all national security journalism in the United States". He also criticized PFC Manning's trial.
  • Ecuadorian and UK foreign ministers have agreed to meet to discuss Julian Assange's situation this month in London.
  • Christian website Patheos put out an article entitled "Why We Need Julian Assange", using Bible quotes to emphasize the importance of truth.
