Jeremy Hammond has been in prison without trial for 426 days. 
A secret Grand Jury on WikiLeaks has been active for 960 days.

  • Today is World Press Freedom Day. WikiLeaks tweeted criticism of Freedom House and Amnesty International for continued silence over the crackdowns against WikiLeaks, Bradley Manning, and Barrett Brown.
  • Freedom of the Press Foundation published an article on NYT Pentagon Papers lawyer James Goodale's new book "Fighting for the Press" which discusses the Pentagon Papers case and its similarities to WikiLeaks.
  • Government-operated spyware, such as Finfisher which is detailed in WikiLeaks Spy Files, are on the rise around the world. WikiLeaks cables also revealed that security services under Hosni Mubarak's regime paid over $350,000 to use the software.
  • WikiLeaks' Kissinger Cables detail U.S. pursuit of oil from Ecuador in the 1970s and the multiple incidents and oil spills that occurred.
