Julian Assange News:

  • Ecuadorian Vice Foreign Minister Marco Albuja Martinez expressed concern over Julian Assange's health and that he could not go to hospital, as he would be arrested upon leaving the Embassy. • Jacob Appelbaum posted a series of tweets after meeting with Julian Assange:
    • "After two days of visiting with Julian at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, I urge the UK government to grant him safe passage to Ecuador. I urge everyone to contact the UK government and demand that #JulianAssange be granted safe passage to Ecuador. The amount of tactical surveillance gear aimed at the Ecuadorian embassy for spying on #JulianAssange is absolutely absurd."
  • Longtime supporter Vivienne Westwood visited Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy wearing an "I Am Julian Assange" shirt, which was part of her recent London show.
