Bradley Manning has been in jail without trial for 731 days.

WikiLeaks News:
  • MarQ Spekt & Kno have released a new music video for their song, "WikiLeaks."

Julian Assange News:
  • The UK Supreme Court announced that it will hand down the verdict in Julian Assange's extradition case on May 30 at 9:15AM. The court session will last about 10 minutes and will be live-streamed via the Sky website. May 30 will be Mr Assange's 540th day of detainment without charge.
  • Julian Assange's Swedish lawyer Per E Samuelson was on Radio Sweden to comment on the announcement of the upcoming verdict, saying they have been waiting a long time and are prepared for either outcome.
  • A vigil for Julian Assange will be held outside the UK Supreme Court beginning at 8:00AM on May 30. Support rallies are scheduled worldwide on May 30 and 31 after the verdict has been announced.
  • Julian Assange is among many other people being held in the UK without charge or evidence, who face the real prospect of extradition to the US.
  • Julian Assange spoke at EIM2012 in The Netherlands. The event was not live-streamed, but here are some tweets from attendees:
    • 'Friends don't expose friends to the things Facebook does.'
    • 'If you're not paying for the product (e.g. Facebook), then you are the product.'
    • 'A mobile phone is a tracking device that also makes calls.'
    • Assange warns that eavesdropping and hacking constantly occur and over borders. Who protects the individual citizen?
    • U.S. citizen's ability to bear arms was created to prevent dictatorship. How 'armed' we are now as digital citizens against the government?
  • WL Central analysed the reactions to "The World Tomorrow," commenting on the strong praise it is now receiving, despite the initial attacks and smears which were present earlier on.

Bradley Manning News:
  • Bradley Manning supporters David Crosby and Graham Nash will be performing at an Obama fundraiser. Nash recently wrote a song denouncing the Obama administration's prosecution of Bradley.
  • More than 40 Iraq and Afghan war veterans discarded their war medals as an act of protest. One veteran said he was doing so on behalf of Bradley Manning, while another called for Bradley's freedom.
  • The Bradley Manning Support Network is looking to hire an event organizer in the Washington D.C. area. They are also asking for donations to help support the new position.
  • Adrian Lamo, who turned Bradley Manning in to U.S. authorities, gave an exclusive interview with IBTimes in which he attacks WikiLeaks and Julian Assange, as well as Anonymous. He falsely stated WikiLeaks' releases have cost thousands of lives, yet to this day not a single person has been physically harmed due to anything WikiLeaks has released.
