WikiLeaks News:
  • WikiLeaks cables show that an individual claiming to be an LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) suicide bomber went to the U.S. Embassy in Colombo to request asylum. After he was determined to be of no threat, he was handed over to Sri Lankan police.
  • Professor Ferrada de Noli has written an analysis of WikiLeaks cables regarding Swedish honor killings and the mass deportation of refugees.

Julian Assange News:
  • Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard will be speaking at the Sydney Convention Centre on May 15. A protest, calling on her to take action for Julian Assange, will take place at the Centre, 1PM.
