Julian Assange has been under house arrest without charge for 483 days.  
Bradley Manning has been in jail without trial for 680 days. 

WikiLeaks News:
  • GOP candidate Mitt Romney is calling on Obama to release notes and transcripts of his meetings with world leaders, but believes WikiLeaks' released of diplomatic cables was "treason."
  • An article at WL Central looks at the Australian Government's growing hostility towards WikiLeaks and Julian Assange.
  • Glenn Greenwald authored an article on the excessive secrecy in the U.S. government, commenting that this is why "WikiLeaks is such a vital and important movement."
  • WikiLeaks cables show that the Democratic Republic of the Congo envoy believes Reserve Bank Governor Gideon Gono profiteered from his actions at the height of Zimbabwe's economic crisis.
  • A new video for the "Beat the Blockade" campaign has been released.
  • An article in Variety recommends the documentary "WikiLeaks: Secrets and Lies" as a journalistic teaching tool, but fails to mention WikiLeaks' statement on the film nor that its under investigation by OFCOM.

Julian Assange News:
  • A new article at Rixstep reveals new information in the Assange case, including Claes Borgström's history of authoring 'screenplays' for plaintiffs and waiting until chief prosecutor Eva Finné was off the case before changing SW's testimony.
  • A forum entitled "Julian Assange: Fighter for Freedom or High Tech Terrorist?" will be held in Newcastle, Australia, April 4 at 6:30PM. Speakers will be Christine Assange, Andrew Fowler, Jim Jose, and Kellie Tranter.

Bradley Manning News:
  • Bradley Manning's defense has filed four motions including the dismissal of the "aiding the enemy" charge and dismissal based on unreasonable multiplication of charges.
