WikiLeaks News:
  • BBC Two will air a new program "WikiLeaks: The Secret Life of a Superpower", March 21 at 9PM. This program looks to focus on Cablegate revelations about US diplomacy.
  • A panel was held in Brisbane entitled "The War on WikiLeaks" with speakers Christine Assange, Scott Ludlam, Peter Black, and Nicole Jensen.
  • State Department employee Peter Van Buren was on The Alyona Show discussing the termination notice he received based on eight charges including linking to WikiLeaks.

Julian Assange News:
  • WikiLeaks announced that Julian Assange will run for Australian Senate. WikiLeaks will also field a candidate to run against Julia Gillard. The name of this candidate and the state Julian will run for will be announced later. After MSM began reporting on this, it became featured on Twitter's discover page.
  • WikiLeaks is asking people to spread an open letter to UK Deputy Prime Minsiter Nick Clegg which covers the issues in the UK's extradition procedures, focusing on Julian Assange's case.

Bradley Manning News:
  • From Bradley Manning's motion hearing, it seems that the prosecution do not plan to argue that Manning broke into government computers; he accessed them using his assigned password. This is contrary to previous claims from Manning's December hearings.
